2016 SECONDARY ONE POSTING RESULTS
1. The Secondary One (S1) posting results will be released on Wednesday, 21 December 2016 at 9:00am.
2. The posting results can be accessed through any of the following channels:
Short Messaging System (SMS) text messaging, if parents have provided a local mobile phone number during the submission of their child’s school choices;>
S1 Internet System at https://www.moe.gov.sg/admis…/secondary-one-posting-exercise; orAt the student’s primary school.
3. Students are to report to the secondary schools that they have been posted to on Thursday, 22 December 2016 at 8:30am.
4. For enquiries, parents can access the iFAQs or call the MOE Customer Service Centre at 6872 2220 during operating hours: 8.30am to 5.30pm on weekdays and 8.30am to 12.30pm on Saturdays.

This personal eraser dust collector serves as an indispensable stationery for students or even working adults as it can be rolled on a table top to remove eraser dust and magnetic materials such as staples.
3) Bluetooth Sensor Mat
This anti-slip Bluetooth Mat is equipped with a bluetooth sensor and is catered specifically for elderly . This mat is placed in bathrooms as a precautionary measure against accidents that may happen. For example, when someone falls on the mat, the sensor will trigger and send bluetooth signals to the caregiver’s phone.
Mass Book Borrowing For P1-P3
Dear P1 to P3 Parents,
NLB will be holding its Books to go session where students can borrow books home. They will be coming down from 7 February to 8 February 2017.
A gentle reminder that students would need to bring their ez link/library membership card if they want to borrow the books.
Also, do assist in ensuring that existing fines have been paid.

New MTL Curriculum Parents’ Guides – 2nd edition (For Primary 1 Parents)
We started using the new MTL curriculum from 2015 starting from P1 level. This year it has been extended to P3 level.
These guides are useful to equip Primary 1 parents with a better understanding of how their children are learning their mother tongues in schools, Parents’ Guide to MTL Curriculum is available in both English and the respective Mother Tongue Languages.
In addition, it provides some recommendations on learning resources, how parents could play an active role in their children’s learning and work alongside with schools to help their children learn the language better.
Dear Parents of North Spring Primary,
On the 9th of February 2017, the Media Resource Library will be displaying books on ‘Animal Fantasy’ during recess! These books are fantasy stories in which the main characters are anthropomorphic animals as they are able to talk, experience emotions and having the ability to reason like humans.
Books such as Charlotte’s Web, Geronimo Stilton, Roald Dahl series and many more will be on display at the Play Cafe. Please remind your child to bring along their student pass to borrow these books.
More details will be released on the 9th of February 2017 during pre-assembly.

Transition to Secondary Education Parent Seminar
MOE’s Engagement and Research Division will be organising the ‘Transition to Secondary Education’ Parent Seminar for parents of Primary 5 or Primary 6 students on 15 July 2017, Saturday at the NTUC Centre. We hope to invite these parents in your school to the seminar.
The seminar aims to:
- Deepen parents’ understanding of the current secondary education landscape
- Broaden parents’ perspective on factors to consider in choosing suitable schools with their child
- Provide parents with information and tips on how they could support their child’s holistic development and social-emotional learning (SEL)

The S1 Option Phase has ended.
Posting results for the 2017 S1 Posting Exercise will be available from 21 December 2017, 9am.
Students are to report to their posted secondary school for registration on 22 December 2017, 8.30am.
2017 PSLE Result
Dear P6 (2017) students, the results of the 2017 Primary School Leaving Examination (PSLE) will be released on Friday, 24 November 2017. Students may obtain their result slips from their respective primary schools from 11.00am on 24 November 2017. Do come in your full school uniform. Thank you.
