Youth Sports Fiesta 2014

16 of our basketball students participated in the Youth Sports Fiesta Challenge 2014 organised by Yio Chu Kang CSC.  A total of 18 schools took part in this event and we are pleased to announce that both our boys teams won the first runner-up and second runner-up position while the girls team won the second runner-up position. Here are our winners with in a photograph with PM Lee Hsien Loong, who was the guest-of-honour at the event.

National Day Honours 2014

We would like to congratulate our dedicated teachers Mrs Jaisri Thirunavukarasu and Mdm Zainab Bte Haron on being awarded the Long Service Medal and the Efficiency Medal by the President of Singapore.

National Photography Festival 2013

Our school bagged one of the 'Individual Best'  award in the 2nd National Photography Festival for Primary Schools, recently organised by Edgefield Primary School & Canon, Singapore. Panasonic Kid Witness News Video Competition 2012

Our ICT Club students did us proud on 16th November 2012. The video that they produced, 'Save Our Home, Go Green' won 3 awards in the Panasonic Kid Witness News Video Competition. Our students were presented the awards by one of the judges, celebrity Mark Lee.

The awards won were:

1. The Journalist of Tomorrow Award - Best Presenter: Ng Xin Rong
2. The Journalist of Tomorrow Award - Best Presenter: Nicholas Seah Shau Chung
3. The Best Facilitator Award: Mrs Chow Lee Kian
   

The school is proud of the students who participated, namely Ng Xin Rong, Nicholas Seah Shau Chung, Fu Jiaxin, Austin Loh Shunwei and Yan Jing Yi. The ICT Club CCA is involved in Video Production, Digital Photography and Robotics.
